Per Dybvig (b. 1964, Norway) is an artist and illustrator whose distinctive drawing style merges precision with chaos, humor with darkness. His work explores the absurdity of everyday life through anthropomorphic creatures, people and fractured narratives. Deeply rooted in the tradition of grotesque and satirical illustration, Dybvig’s practice reflects a world of instability and transformation where logic often breaks down.
Per Dybvig lives and works in Stavanger and Berlin. His works are held in collections including Stavanger Art Museum, The National Museum (NO), and The Wien Museum (AT), and has been exhibited at institutions such as Salzburger Kunstverein (AT), The Musée d’art moderne et contemporain de Saint-Étienne Métropole (FR) and The Park View Museum Singapore and Beijing.
